Montclair State University Athletics

A varsity performer in football for four years, Scavone captained the Indians in his senior season (1957). He was named the Indians best linemen in three seasons (1955-57)while also winning the team’s Most Valuable Player award in 1957. Scavone capped his outstanding career in 1957 by being named the outstanding senior athlete on the Montclair State 11.
