As an MSC standout soccer player, Arvi Saar played on numerous all-star teams in the 1960s and received a very long and impressive list of awards. In 1966 he was MSC’s leading scorer. In 1967 he was selected the outstanding Defensive player on the team and for all four years he made the NJSCAC All-Star Teams. In 1968 and 1969 he was on the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware All-Star teams and in 1968 he made the NCAA Tournament All-Star Team. In his senior year he was an NCAA All-American.
