Nicknamed "Tee", Broccoletti played on Montclair State's varsity basketball and baseball teams during the three years he attended and earned six letter. As a guard on the basketball squad, he was an excellent defensive player and one of the better shooters.He played 33 baseball games at first base during three seasons. He led the team in batting in 1933 with a .500 batting average. "Tee" served on the MSC Alumni Board and was the chairman of the football homecoming committee in 1972. Decorated with the Bronze Star Medal for meritoriou achievement in ground operation, he is a retired U.S. Army Colonel. Broccoletti was a councilman in Plainfield, N.J. and was named "Man of the Year" in 1966.
