Diane Jaglowski was the first superstar in swimming at Montclair State College. As a freshman she won 23 individual events in her first eight meets. As her career progresses, she continued to her winning ways and held MSC pool records in the 100 freestyles, 200 freestyle 100 individual medley and 400 yard freestyle. In 1973 she won the 200 yard freestyle and set a record in the 400 freestyle at the ECAC Championships. She was also the firs woman to ever represent MSC at the Women’s National Intercollegiate Championships and competed in three events. In 1975, she was named to the All-America Team, the first time it was offered to women.
