Dom Deo, football captain in 1962 and 1963, earned eight varsity letters at MSC, four in football, two in wrestling, and two in football. Deo established several school records, including most career points (158), most career touchdowns (26), most career yards total offense (1786) and most carries in a single game (32). He led the team in scoring in each of his four years and led MSC in rushing during his final three seasons. Deo, a Scotch Plains resident, has been active as a scholastic football and wrestling coach in Union County since his graduation. He served as the head football coach at Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights.
