George Jenkins won 8 varsity letters in his collegiate career in both football and track from 1959-1962.  He was co-captain of the record holding 14 game winning streak in football in the years 1960-1961.  Jenkins held the MSC pole vault record and was a two time collegiate track conference winner in 1960 and 1961.
