The holder of a host of pitching records at the completion of his career, Jerauld had four outstanding seasons as the ace of the Indians pitching staff between 1965 and 1969. In two of those seasons he was undefeated (6-0 in 1966, 4-0 in 1969). His career mark was 17-5 and the Indians were a combined 59-15 during his time on the mound. Jerauld’s earned run average in all four year was under 2.00 and his career mark was a stingy 1.23. He was a New Jersey State College Athletic Conference First-Team selection in 1967, 1968 and 1969. Jerauld received the coveted Charles Turek Award in 1969.
