Montclair State University Athletics

The winner of six varsity letters during his three years at Montclair State, Fishman was a standout in basketball and baseball. In basketball he played a key role in two outstanding years when the Indians were 14-6 and 15-5 in the 1939-40 and 1940-41 campaigns. On the baseball diamond, Fishman helped the Indians to winning marks in two of his three years. In his senior year he was selected as the Outstanding Senior Athlete for baseball.
