An outstanding offensive center and premier rebounder, Sienkiewicz was a member of the Eastern Regional Championship Team of 1969 which reached the Final 8 of the NCAA College Division in Evansville, Indiana. The following year he captained the team which made the finals of the Eastern Regionals in Buffalo. Sienkiewicz was an outstanding leader and student who garnered many athletic and academic awards among them being the ECAC All-East Team and First-Team All-Conference.
