Andrew August was named MSU Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season, following another solid week as he averaged 22.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists helping Montclair State improve to 14-4 on the season in a 1-1 week. He did all he could scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and four assists in 70-62 loss at defending champion New Jersey City. Augusut then registered 22 points, his sixth consecutive game of 20 or more points, along nine rebounds and five assists as Montclair bounced back winning for the seventh time in eight outings with a 72-53 win at Rutgers-Camden. August currently leads the team in scoring (20.6), rebounding (9.3), assists (3.3 apg) and field goal percentage (.566). He is ranked second in the NJAC in scoring and rebounding and leads the conference in field goal percentage.
