Jeffers played a key role in helping the nationally-ranked Red Hawks to three victories last week as MSU upped its record to 10-0, the second-best start in school history. She recorded a career-best 20 points in the Red Hawks' 79-42 win over Stevens and followed that up with 19 points and seven rebounds as MSU defeated NJCU, 76-41. She wrapped up the week with six points and seven rebound along with four steals in a 77-39 win over Drew. For the week, Jeffers shot 47.6 percent (20-of-42) from the fioor and averaged 15.0 points, seven rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Jeffers, who is averaging 10.8 points per game this season, is currently ranked in the Top 20 in the NJAC in four categories - scoring, rebounding (5.9 rpg), free throw percentage (.723) and steals (2.1).
