Hill, the NJAC Player and Pitcher of the Year in 2012, picked up where she left off last season with two victories as top-ranked Montclair State defeated Albion and Mount Union in its season-opening contests at the Rebel Spring Games. Hill fanned eight of the first 10 batters and allowed two singles with 10 strikeouts in four innings of work in a 9-0 win over Albion. She then tossed a 1-hitter striking out 15 batters in a game for the third time in her career as MSU defeated the Raiders, 3-0. Hill, who was named the NJAC Pitcher of the Week, is currently leads or is tied for the league lead in ERA, wins and strikeouts.
