Mendoza helped keep No. 11 MSU unbeaten as the Red Hawks won three times last week to improve to 5-0. After very limited playing time against Hunter, Mendoza assisted on Montclair's insurance goal with eight minutes to go in a 5-3 victory over Cortland. Two days later he scored twice and added an assist all in the first half as the Red Hawks topped Manhattanville, 5-1. Mendoza moved into a tie for eighth place on the MSU all-time list for goals (38) and is all alone in eighth place for points with 94.
