Brattole is named the MSU Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after an impressive two games last week that also earned her her second New Jersey Athletic Conference Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week honor for the 2013 campaign .Brattole posted a pair of shutouts as the No. 1 Red Hawks blanked a pair of Top 20 teams last week to improve to 14-1. Brattole had four saves in the Red Hawks' 4-0 win over No. 20 Drew University on Wednesday. She then had four saves, including one in the final minute, to preserve MSU's 1-0 victory over No. 6 William Smith on Saturday. Brattole is currently ranked second in the league in shutouts (6) and goals against average (0.76) and is third in save percentage (.771). In 15 games this season, Brattole has stopped 37 shots.
