D’Andrea earned MSU Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this year after leading the Red Hawks to a 38-7 NJAC victory over Western Connecticut. In a driving snowstorm, he averaged 8.2 yards per carry with 231 rushing yards on 28 attempts, including three touchdowns of 4, 1, and 36 yards apiece. Named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week for a second time in 2011, his 231 rushing yards are the second most in an NJAC game this season in conference, trailing just his own 239-yard effort against Salve Regina. D’Andrea, who eclipsed the 2,000-yard career rushing plateau in the win over the Colonials, currently leads the NJAC in rushing (168.4 ypg), scoring (9.8 ppg) and all-purpose yards (173.5 ypg).
