Policastro, named for the second time this season and fourth time in her career, was chosen as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after helping MSU claim the NJAC championship for the second time in three seasons last week. The Second-Team All-Conference selection opened the week by recording two saves during a 1-0 shutout victory over Rowan in the NJAC Tournament Semifinals. Four days later, she registered eight saves dur­ing regulation, and stopped three more in penalty kicks, helping the Red Hawks claim the 2014 NJAC Championship after a 1-1 tie with TCNJ. Policastro currently leads the NJAC in shutouts this season (14.2).
