Amilcar became the second straight Red Hawk to be named New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week after an outstanding day for MSU in the Gotham Cup at the New Balance Track and Field Center. Amilcar recorded a pair of ECAC Championship qualifying performances and just missed out on a third. He finished 14^th in the 200 meters with a time of 22.50 seconds which qualified him for the ECAC Championship meet later this season. Amilcar then ran the leadoff leg on the 4x400 relay squad that placed 16^th with a time of 3:27.57 which was also an ECAC mark. He wrapped up the day recording a time of 50.58 in the 400 meters, missing the ECAC standard by .08 seconds. Amilcar currently has the top time in the NJAC in the 200 meters and the sixth-best time in the conference in the 400 meters.
