Cobbertt had an outstanding two days for Montclair State last week. He captured the 200 freestyle (1:46.07) and finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:03.00) and helped the 400 freestyle relay to second (3:21.80) in a dual meet loss with NJAC preseason favorite TCNJ on Friday. The next day he swam on four relays teams that finished first helping MSU to the top spot in the Union Relays for the first time. Cobbertt swam the anchor leg on the 400 medley relay team (3:39.11), the 500 Cresendo Relay (4:21.71), 200 medley relay (1:40.26) and 400 freestyle relay (3:19.49).
