Sire helped the No. 12 Red Hawks get their season off on the right foot as Montclair pulled away from Ithaca College in the second half for a 77-62 victory at home. Sire registered a double-double performance of 19 points along with a career-best 17 rebounds in addition to handing out three assists. Sire shot 6-of-13 from the field and connected on 7-of-9 attempts at the foul line as MSU trailed by a point at halftime before out scoring the Bombers 47-31 in the second half.
