Playing in his first NJAC contest, Channer recorded his second straight double-double as Montclair improved to 2-0 with an 83-63 win over TCNJ. Channer finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 5-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. He also connected on 10-of-12 at the charity stripe. Channer scored six of his nine first-half points during a game-opening 20-9 run by MSU, which led from opening tap to finish. He then scored four points in a 9-0 run that virtually put the game away with 9:31 left helping MSU take a 58-41 lead. Channer currently leads the NJAC in both scoring (24.0 ppg) and rebounding (10.5 rpg) and is ranked fourth in the league in three-point shooting percentage (.500).
