Channer, named for the third time this season, averaged a double-double last week for the Red Hawk men's basketball team. The junior forward put up 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Red Hawks while adding three assists and two steals. Channer registered his eighth double-double of the year with 25 points and 12 rebounds as Montclair State fell at Rowan in overtime, 84-83. Three days later he scored 24 points in a loss to NJAC regular-season champion New Jersey City University.Channr is currently ranked seventh in the conference in scoring (17.2 ppg) and is third in rebounding (8.2 rpg).
