Powers is named for the second consecutive week after grabbing NJAC Softball Player of the Week honors. The 2015 All-NJAC selection was dominating at the plate going 10-for-14 with seven RBI and five extra base hits in doubleheader sweeps of Centenary and NYU.  Powers threw a no-hitter in the opener versus Centenary and helped her own cause going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles in 12-0 win. She then was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in a 10-1 victory. Two days later, Powers was 3-for-4 with three RBI, a double and home run in an 11-10 come-from-behind win in Game 1 vs. NYU. She completed the day with a 2-for-3 performance with one run batted in in a 10-7 win against the Violets. Powers had a slugging percentage of 1.214 and on-base percentage of .667 for the week. Powers currently leads the conference in hits (31) and RBI (22) and is ranked in the Top 5 in six other categories including second in batting average (.534) and doubles (8); third in on-base percentage (.541) and total bases (47); fourth in slugging (.810) and fifth in runs scored (15).
