Negra was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week after posting the lone win for Montclair State as the Red Hawks finished 9th at the Ramapo Invitational on Saturday. Negra won the javelin with a distance of 40.30 meters, the lone competitor to top the 40-meter mark on the day. It was a personal-best for Negra, who currently tops the NJAC list in the event and ranks 13th in Division III.
