Lynch, the NJAC Rookie Player of the Week, was outstanding in four games for Montclair last week as the Red Hawks went 3-1. Lynch hit .636 with eight RBI and three extra-base hits. Lynch was 7-for-11 at the plate and posted a slugging percentage of 1.091 and on-base percentage of .600 while collecting three multiple-hit games. Lynch opened the week going 2-for-3 with his first career home run in a loss to DeSales on Wednesday and was 2-for-2 with a double in a 5-1 win on the road at Purchase the following day. Lynch then opened MSU's doubleheader sweep of Stockton on Saturday going 2-for-4 with a three-run double in a 5-4 win and was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI in a 9-1 win completing the sweep. Lynch is currently hitting .364 with seven runs scored and 11 RBI in 14 games. He is ranked 21^st in the league in batting average.
