Stamile, the NJAC Rookie Player of the Week, had an outstanding week for the Red Hawks as Montclair went 5-1 on the week including wins in three of its four conference contests. Stamile batted .529, going 9-for-17 at the plate with 10 runs scored, a double, home run and 10 RBI in the six contests. She posted a slugging percentage of .765 and on-base average of .600 for the week. The left-handed hitting Stamile had a hit in each game, drove in one run and scored twice in a doubleheader sweep of New Jersey City on Wednesday. Three days later she was 3-for-5 with two RBI and four runs scored as Montclair split at Rutgers-Camden. The next day Stamile was a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs scored and six RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Staten Island on Sunday. Stamile belted a grand slam providing all the runs in a 4-2 Game 1 victory and added two more in the nightcap in a 9-0 triumph. Stamile is currently ranked sixth in the conference in batting average (.443), ninth in slugging (.614), eighth in on-base percentage (.500), seventh in hits (39) and 10th in RBI with 22.
