Terci, the conference Offensive Player of the Week, was outstanding last week as he helped the Red Hawks advance to the semifinals of the NJAC Tournament. The nation's second-leading goal scorer and point leader, Terci scored five times and picked up an assist while setting or tying several MSU records. He had a hand in six of the seven goals scored by the Red Hawks last week. Terci stamped his name on all three scores as Montclair State earned its way into the NJAC Tournament with a 3-1 win over New Jersey City University. He scored on a penalty kick early in the first half and assisted on the second goal before tallying again in the second half. Then on Saturday, Terci put together an amazing performance notching a hat trick during a three-minute span in the first half propelling MSU to a 4-2 win at Rutgers-Camden in the first round of the conference tournament. His first goal broke the career record and his second established a new single-season mark. The third goal, which completed his fourth hat trick of the year, tied the single-season record for points. Terci, who now holds all three major scoring records at Montclair State, broke Erik Neubart's (1991-94) for goals as he now has 62. His 27 goals in 2016 is two better than John Ioannu's 1983 mark (25) and he tied Ioannu's season record of 58 points.
