Sire was named the NJAC, Met Writers Division III Player of the Week and was chosen to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week after averaging 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 3.5 steals in wins over Cortland and New Jersey City. The 2016 All-NJAC selection shot .679 from the field making 19-of-28 shots, including 7-of-11 (.636) from behind the arc and made 6-of-7 shots from the foul line. Sire established career highs with 29 points and six three-point field goals in a 66-49 win versus Cortland on Monday. Sire grabbed six rebounds and had five steals and scored 17 points in the first half on perfect shooting – 6-of-6 from the floor and all five of her attempts from three-point range. Two nights later, Sire reached the 20-point mark for the third time this season and finished one rebound shy of a double-double pulling down nine in the 14-point conference win over the Gothic Knights. Sire currently ranks seventh in the NJAC in scoring at 15.2 points per game and 10th in rebounding at 7.0 boards per contest. She is also sixth in field goal percentage (.484) and ranks in the Top 15 in the league in free throw percentage (13th), steals (11th – 2.1 pg) and three-point percentage (.378).
