Luigard, the NJAC Rookie of the Week, is selected after two outstanding days in the pool for the Red Hawks last week. She first produced a first-place showing in the 200 individual medley (2:17.95), while also competing as a member of MSU's first-place 200 medley relay (1:56.34) during a 113-86 non-conference meet win over Mt. St. Mary. One day later, she notched first-place finishes in the 200 medley (2:17.08), the 100 breaststroke (1:09.51) and the 200 breaststroke (2:30.25) events during a conference meet against Rowan. Luigard currently holds the conference's fourth-best times this season in both the 200 individual medley (2:13.62) and the 200 breaststroke (2:29.57) events.
