Luigard was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week for a third time after an outstanding performance at the Metropolitan Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend. In her first collegiate championship meet, Luigard recorded three Top 10 individual finishes and added four more on relays helping MSU to a sixth-place finish overall, third among Division III teams. Luigard set a school record during her third-place finish in the 200 individual medley clocking in at 2:09.51 and was also fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.29) and fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.13). She then swam in four relay events, three of which set new Montclair State records. She swam the leadoff leg on the 400 freestyle relay that claimed fifth in the event with a school-record time of 3:36.47. Luigard was part of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that each set new Red Hawk standards with time of 1:50.47 (6^th place) and 4:01.99 (3^rd place), respectively. Luigard was the starter for Montclair's 800 freestyle relay that placed sixth with a time of 8:06.41.
