Cucci, the New Jersey Athletic Conference Softball Rookie Player of the Week on Monday. Cucci had a hit in all four games last week as MSU went 3-1. The freshman batted .500 going  6-for-12 at the plate with two home runs and five RBI. Cucci opened the week going 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI in a Game #1 7-0 win over Centenary. She was 1-for-2 with another home run helping MSU complete the sweep with an 8-0 win. After going 1-for-3 with two walks in the first game against NYU, Cucci was 2-for-4 with an RBI as Montclair earned a split with a 4-3 win in 10 innings. Cucci slugged 1.083 for the week and had a .600 on-base percentage. She is batting. 333 in 11 games.
