McNamara gave Montclair State some solid offensive punch with three goals and an assist as the Red Hawks posted victories over Union and Muhlenberg to improve to 4-0 on the year, the first time it has opened a season with four straight wins since 2008 and the seventh time in the last nine years. The NJAC Offensive Player of the Week had a hand in all three goals scoring twice and assisting on the other as MSU blanked Union, 3-0. McNamara then followed that up with a goal as the Red Hawks defeated Muhlenberg, 4-1. The team co-leader in both goals and points, McNamara is currently fifth in the NJAC in points scored and fourth in goals.
