Mataras scored the lone goal with 6:35 remaining helping Montclair State to a 1-0 victory at Gordon College last Friday. Mataras, making his collegiate debut, snapped the scoreless contest as he finished off a feed from Rafael Terci in the 84th minute as MSU posted its seventh straight season-opening victory.
