Daly, named the NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week for a fourth time, played a key role in the Red Hawks 27-20 victory over William Paterson in the season finale on Saturday. MSU's dual threat kicker, Daly connected on a pair of field goals, made three extra points and averaged 41.9 yards per punt on eight attempts, including a 57-yard boot. Daly hit from 40 and 29 yards in the first quarter helping Montclair State build a 20-0 lead. The field goals were the 10th and 11th of the year for Daly, the most by a Red Hawk kicker since 2011. Daly, who had never attempted a field goal prior to this season, finished the season 11-of-14 on field goal setting a new single-season mark for field goal percentage (78.6). Daly is currently ranked eight in the conference in scoring (47 points) and third among kickers. In addition he is third in the conference in punting (38.1 ypp), second in field goal percentage and leads the NJAC in field goals per game (1.10) and PAT percentage (1.000 / 14-of-14).
