Brewer, named the NJAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time, helped Montclair State improve to 5-1 with a 117-64 victory over College of Staten Island last Saturday. Brewer won two events and posted the top time in three others while swimming exhibition. Brewer captured the 1000 freestyle posting a time of 11:14.49 and added a second victory in the 100 butterfly clocking in at 1:02.68. She would then record the top time in the 100 freestyle (59.01), 50 freestyle (25.34 seconds) and 500 freestyle (5:23.88). Brewer swam anchor leg for the 200 freestyle relay (1:50.96). Brewer currently holds the second-fastest time in the NJAC this season in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle and is fourth in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
