Sire, the NJAC Player of the Week, is named for the second time this season after helping the Red Hawks to three victories last week averaging 20.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.3 steals while shooting 52.1 percent from the field. Sire opened the week with her second double-double of the season as MSU went on the road and rallied past in-state rival Stevens on Monday. Sire scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in addition to adding three assists and three steals. Two nights later, Sire scored 20 points in a game of the fifth time finishing with 21 and seven boards in a 69-52 road win at Ramapo. Sire capped the week with 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals as Montclair knocked off Rutgers-Newark, 54-43 for its fourth straight victory. Sire, who moved into 10th place on the all-time scoring list (1,295 points), currently leads the NJAC in scoring (21.7) and is fourth in rebounding (8.1), field goal percentage (.517) and three-point percentage (.370). She also ranks 11th in steals (2.3 spg) and 12th in free throw percentage (.692).
