The first-year Red Hawk had a fine all-around day posting a pair of Top 20 individual finishes while also taking part on two relays the also finished in the Top 20 at the DeSchriver Invitational at East Stroudsburg University. Schwing lead 1.47 meters in the high jump for ninth place and registered a distance of 4.66 meters for 18th in the long jump. She then ran on the 4x400 relay squad that turned in a time of 4:35.33 (9th place) and the 4x200 relay (1:57.04) that was 13th.
