Sire was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the fifth time after helping the Red Hawks to their sixth consecutive conference championship last week. Sire, the NJAC Player of the Year, averaged 18.0 points and 15.0 rebounds posting a pair of double-double performances as MSU also collected the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship. Montclair will host the first two rounds at the Panzer Athletic Center with the Red Hawks facing Old Westbury in first round on Friday, March 2.Sire registered her seventh double-double of the season scoring 11 points and grabbing a career-best 19 rebounds in Montclair's 65-55 semifinal win over Rowan. She then topped the 20-point mark for the 16^thtime finishing with 25 along with 11 rebounds as the Red Hawks captured the title with a 58-51 win over The College of New Jersey. Sire also had five blocks in the game. Sire currently leads the NJAC in scoring at 21.4 points per game and is also ranked in the Top 10 in the conference in rebounding (4^th – 8.8 rpg), field goal percentage (8^th - .501), free-throw percentage (2^nd-.829) and steals (6^th – 2.6 spg).
