Goldson had an outstanding performance for Montclair State in its only game of the week as the Red Hawks improved to 15-4 overall, 5-2 in the NJAC. The sophomore forward recorded his third double-double of the season in MSU’s 79-74 win over Rowan, the Red Hawks’ fourth consecutive victory. He scored 21 points and grabbed a career-best 17 rebounds while also blocking three shots. Goldson, who made 9-of-12 shots from the field, took control for MSU down the stretch, scoring eight of the team’s final 10 points to seal the victory. Goldson had 16 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in the second half. For the season, Goldson is second on the team in scoring (9.7 ppg), rebounding (8.2 rpg) and blocked shots (20) while shooting 57 percent from the field
