Norton helped Montclair State get off to a great start at the RussMatt Invitational as the Red Hawks won all three games over the weekend. Norton batted .500 from his leadoff spot going 5-for-10 with three runs scored and four stolen bases. He had a slugging percentage of .500 and on-base percentage of .583. Norton drew a leadoff walk in the 1st inning, stole two bases and scored on a ground out for the only run as MSU blanked PSU-Altoona, 1-0 in the first game of a doubleheader. He then went 2-for-3 with a run scored as Montclair completed the sweep with an 11-1 triumph in the second game. The next day has was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in a 5-0 victory over Penn State-Abington.
