Powers earns her second NJAC Player of the Week honor after helping the Red Hawks to a 3-1 week. She batted .571 going 8-for-14 at the plate with nine runs scored, five RBI, three doubles, a home run and five stolen bases. Powers slugged 1.000 for the week and had an on-base percentage of .625 while hitting safely in all four games, including three multi-hit contests. She was 3-for-6 with three runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases as MSU swept Drew 8-4 and 8-0. She then went 5-for-8 with four RBI, two doubles, a home run and five runs scored as MSU split with No. 16 Kean. In that contest Powers scored five runs to tie the MSU single-game record set 15 years ago. She currently leads the NJAC with a .500 batting average and .557 on-base percentage.
