Montclair State University Athletics

Waterman, named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight week, had an outstanding week helping Montclair State even its record at 3-3 with a pair of victories. The freshman averaged 4.57 kills and 2.00 digs per set along with one assist, five aces and three total blocks. Waterman hit .400 for the week and had a reception percentage of .885 (3 errors / 26 attempts). Waterman had 11 kills without an error (.423) and three aces as MSU swept Mount St. Vincent. She then posted a double-double of 21 kills (.386 hitting%) and 11 digs in a four-set win at Merchant Marine. Waterman currently ranks second in the NJAC in kills per set at 3.63 (69 total) and is sixth in hitting efficiency at .285 as well as ranking in the Top 30 in the league in aces and digs.
