Breeman averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds as Montclair State split its two NJAC contests last week. He opened the week with seven points and four caroms as the Red Hawks fell at first-place Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday. The sophomore then notched his first career double-double with 12 points and 11 boards as Montclair snapped its four-game losing streak with an 89-84 victory at home against Rowan. Freeman had the go-ahead layup for an 81-80 lead with 30 seconds remaining and then hit four foul shots in the final minute to preserve the victory. In 14 games this season, Breeman is averaging 7.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.7 percent from the floor with 16 assists and nine steals.
