Ramos was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after racking up a career-best 13 tackles, including nine solo stops in the Red Hawks contest with Salve Regina on Saturday. He also picked off a pass and forced a fumble. Ramos' pick in the end zone during the second quarter helped thwart a Salve drive and his forced fumble led to an MSU recovery. The Red Hawk capitalized with a touchdown off the turnover pulling within 24-21 with 4:24 left. Ramos is currently ranked 11th in the league in tackles (6.7) and is sixth in passes defended. He is tied for the league lead in fumbles forced and interceptions.
