Beal is named for the second time this season after being named the Player of the Week by both the Skyline Conference and New Jersey Athletic Conference. Beal was selected after tallying 16 points, 23 draw controls, and nine ground balls in a 2-1 week of play for MSU. She opened the week with four goals and three assists for seven points, while adding three draw controls and two ground balls in a 17-5 win over Skyline newcomer St. Joseph’s-Long Island. Two days later, she notched six goals, including the 100th goal of her career becoming the 14th player in school history to reach that mark in addition to a program-record 10 draw controls and six ground balls in a 19-9 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Camden. She wrapped up the week with two points on a goal and an assist, while tying her school-record with another 10 draw controls in a 13-7 defeat to Farmingdale State. Beal currently ranks third in the NJAC and Skyline Conference in draw controls per game (4.75). She is seventh in the Skyline in goals per game and 10th in points per contest.
