Nappe, who was named Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, helped MSU (11-7 overall) to a perfect 5-0 week - all on the road, as he batted. 524 with a slugging percentage of 1.000 and on-base average of .600. He had two or more hits in four of the five games and posted three multiple RBI contests. Nappe went 3-for-8 with four runs scored and six RBI as MSU swept Rutgers-Camden in their NJAC opener on Saturday. In the twinbill he had an RBI single in the first game, a 6-4 win and then added a three-run homer early in the game and a bases-loaded walk in the 10th as Montclair knocked off the Raptors, 13-10. Earlier in the week, Nappe drove in four runs in a 10-2 win at DeSales and the following day added two doubles and an RBI in Montclair State's 7-1 win at Oneonta State. He was 3-for-5 with a double and solo home run as the Red Hawks downed Moravian, 8-7. Nappe is currently ranked in the Top 10 in the league in eight different categories, including home runs (2nd - 4), RBI (3rd - 24), batting average (6th - .417) and total bases (3rd - 49).
