Amato helped the Red Hawks to a 6-0 week as MSU improved to 20-1 overall, including a sweep in their NJAC opener. She homered in both ends of the doubleheader as Montclair swept Staten Island 11-1 & 7-3. Amato, who slugged .750 for the week and an on-base percentage of .421, was 4-for-4 with three runs scored and 5 RBI in the twinbill. She then had what turned out to a be the game-winning RBI in the second game as MSU knocked off Stockton 4-3 in the second game to complete the sweep. Amato is currently ranked second in the NJAC in both home runs (5) and RBI (20) and is eighth in slugging percentage (.661).
