Bond helped MSU to a 4-1 week against three ranked opponents as the Red Hawks ran their record to 15-8 overall, 5-1 in the NJAC. Bond batted .500 (10-for-20) with seven RBI and four extra base hits, including two home runs. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI as Montclair rallied for a 6-4 victory over No. 5 Eastern Connecticut. Bond then blasted a three-run home run in the 9th inning and finished 2-for-5 as MSU blanked No. 24 Ramapo, 6-0 on Thursday. The following day he was 2-for-4 in a 2-1 win against the Roadrunners completing a home-and-home sweep. Bond wrapped up the week going 5-for-8 with three RBI, two doubles and a home run as Montclair split with No. 6 Kean falling 4-3 in the opener and winning 11-3 in the nightcap. He connected on a two-run home run in the first inning of the second game, his third of the season. Bond, who moved into a tie for 10th place on the all-time home run list, had a slugging percentage of .900 for the week and posted an on-base percentage of .545. He is currently hitting .352 with 24 RBI, 26 runs scored, six doubles and three home runs.
