Gearity posted a solid performance as she along with the rest of the Red Hawks returned to the track after a two-week hiatus at the Third Annual Roadrunner Invitational held at Ramapo College. Gearity competed in four events, including two relays as Montclair placed fifth among  the field of Division II and Division III squads. She captured the 400 hurdles leading a 1-2 MSU finish in the event. Gearity’s time was 1:03.66 breaking her own meet record set last year while placing her 11th on the NCAA Performance List. She went on to place sixth in the 100 hurdles (15.64) and helped the 4x400 relay team to a third-place showing with a time of 4.03.18. She completed the day by running on Montclair’s 4x100 relay that came in sixth (50.40).
