Topor was named the Most Valuable Player of the Jay Street Classic held at NYU-Polytechnic over the weekend helping the Red Hawks claim their second straight in-season tournment. The junior averaged 3.07 kills and 3.13 digs as Montclair State went 4-1 during the week improving to 12-3 on the season. Topor opened the week with a double-double of 13 kills and 13 digs as MSU fell at Kean in their NJAC opener in four sets. She then posted eight kills and eight digs as the Red Hawks swept York College (NY) in their first match of the Jay Street Challenge and then had nine kills, three service aces and seven digs as MSU completed a second sweep on Friday downing Farmingdale State, 3-0. The following day, Topor had 16 kills and 19 digs as Montclair outlasted host NYU-Polytechnic in five sets. Topor is currently ranked i nthe Top 10 in the NJAC in three different ategories, including a No. 5 ranking in kills per game at 2.58 per set.
