Mendoza made the most of his opportunities with two goals on two shots as he helped No. 6 Montclair State to a pair of wins last week. Mendoza scored an insurance goal for the Red Hawks in a 2-0 win at Rhode Island College on Tuesday. He then scored on a penalty kick, his fourth penalty kick goal this season, to give Montclair a 2-0  lead as the Red Hawks went on the road and edged Richard Stockton 2-1 to remain in first place in the NJAC. Mendoza moved into 10th place on the all-time MSU list for goals scored (31) and 12th place in points scored (76). He currently ranks sixth in the NJAC in points (18) scored this season and is seventh (7) in goals and eighth in assists (4).
